Ça Dada

Written and Directed by

A hundred years ago, the Dadaist movement emerged in reaction to the European World War I absurdity, a world locked into its social conventions and a narrow point of view about the concept of Beauty in the arts. What would be Dadaism today? Alice Laloy raises the question, and affirms that the unique accurate weapon to fight absurdity is creativity. The actors of ça dada take you to a chaotic and cheerful journey, through a patchwork of situations, emotions, colors and a successively rebuilt and destroyed set; a journey in which freedom and metamorphosis are the only guides.
