In Crowd, Gisèle Vienne continues her exploration of human drives and fantasies, this time questioning the mute, hidden relationship between partying and violence. Accompanied by electro music, the convulsing, shining bodies of fifteen dancers perform an outstanding choreographic and theatrical score. This score reinvents and reinterprets the gestural possibilities corresponding to movements generated by video editing and special effects. This opens a hallucinatory space for release, inviting spectators to enter and explore their own inner worlds.
